Webinars, education

The Public Union “Green Agro Solutions” supports and promotes the principles of “continuous education”, develops and conducts online lecture series, manuals, and reference books for various groups of people.

✅ Online course: “Sustainable Farming: Technologies, Profit, Innovation”.
The course is a joint initiative of Royal Agricultural University (RAU), United KingdomSumy National Agrarian University (SNAU), Ukraine, and Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), Switzerland, in partnership with the “Green Agro Solutions” Public Association.

✅ The “Season of Solutions for Farmers” series covers the entire seasonal cycle of farming decisions: from spring crop establishment, soil pests, weeds, biological control, and greenhouse technologies—to summer stress, irrigation, fertigation, nutrition, pests and diseases at the peak of the season, crop quality, post-harvest care, cover crops, minimum tillage, fall soil restoration, crop storage, preparing the farm for winter, seasonal economics, the market, and planning for the coming year. This is a practical series about the decisions farmers need to make not “someday,” but precisely when they need to be implemented on the farm.

✅ The flagship educational product is the ‘Greenhouse Agro Solutions’ course, commissioned by the FAO and hosted on the EBRD platform (AgriAcademy).
Over a period of more than six months, a team of leading Ukrainian experts developed a comprehensive programme comprising 46 lectures, covering agronomy, greenhouse engineering, biological control, energy, economics and automation.
The course provides a holistic understanding of greenhouse farming — from site selection to microclimate management and profitability — and is based exclusively on the practical experience of specialists working on real-world projects. This is one of the most comprehensive programmes on greenhouse production in Ukraine, available free of charge to farmers, which fosters a systematic view of the greenhouse as a single technological system.

✅ Presentation of the Organic Farming training manual and eight meetings with the authors of the chapters and farmers whose sustainable organic practices are described in the manual. Link to a selection of meetings: Organic Farming training manual

✅ Since the beginning of 2025, we have conducted a new series of lectures, “Sustainable Agricultural Practices and Farming of the Future” with a more in-depth level of knowledge in climate-oriented, renewable, and organic farming.
Free access to 12 lectures already held.

✅ We also held a separate series of lectures and training sessions on the development of the green transition and the greening of the agri-food business in Ukraine.
Free access to 6 lectures already held.

✅ In 2024, we held a series of discussions with a deeper and broader level of knowledge, “Green Agro Solutions” which are focused on improving soils, preserving biodiversity, and caring for Ukraine’s natural resources, namely: renewable and sustainable agriculture, organic, regenerative, permaculture, and biodynamic practices. All recordings of the 27 events are available on YouTube at: “Green Agro Solutions”

✅ Knowing from practical experience that many farmers are considering greening their production and switching to greener solutions, the Green Agro Solutions Public Union , together with scientists from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and practicing farmers, created and conducted a separate series of lectures entitled “Conservation Agriculture Systems” consisting of 12 lectures, which are also available free of charge on the YouTube channel at the link: “Conservation Agriculture Systems”

✅ Since mid-2023, 20 training sessions and discussions have been held as part of the Organic Discussion Club project, where scientists and practicing farmers shared their experience in growing virtually all crops in organic production.
Recordings of all 20 events are available on YouTube at: “Organic Discussion Club”

✅ Together with the National Association of Advisory Services NASDSU held a separate event for the farmers’ association entitled “How to get your own high-quality seedlings” and for the All-Ukrainian Association of Local Self-Government Bodies “Association of United Territorial Communities” entitled “Production of biohumus from organic waste in communities as a profitable business”

✅ Experts from the Green Agro Solutions Public Union also gave seven lectures on conservation, regenerative, carbon, organic, biological protection of plants in a training course for agricultural advisors “MULTIFUNCTIONAL AGRICULTURE” which was conducted by the National Association of Agricultural Advisory Services of Ukraine and the Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University.
