Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Green Agro Solutions supports the principles of equal opportunities, non-discrimination, respect for human dignity, diversity and inclusion across all areas of its activities.

The organisation is committed to creating a safe, open and professional environment for consultants, experts, project coordinators, lecturers, trainers, volunteers, trainees, participants in training activities and representatives of partner organisations.

Our internal documents have been developed in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and with due regard to European principles of gender equality, good governance, non-discrimination and inclusion, as well as approaches applied under European Union programmes and other international initiatives.

Gender Equality Plan

The Gender Equality Plan of Green Agro Solutions for 2026–2028 is an internal strategic document of the organisation.

The Plan establishes:

  • strategic objectives and priorities in the field of gender equality;
  • responsibilities of the organisation’s management, project coordinators and designated persons;
  • resources for implementing the planned measures;
  • procedures for annual monitoring and reporting;
  • training and awareness-raising measures;
  • principles of gender-sensitive recruitment and engagement of consultants and experts;
  • equal access to professional development;
  • measures to prevent discrimination, workplace mobbing, bullying and harassment;
  • procedures for submitting and handling reports;
  • integration of the gender dimension into international projects.

The Plan was approved by the Head of Green Agro Solutions on 12 January 2026.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

The Policy establishes a consistent organisational approach to:

  • ensuring equal treatment;
  • preventing discrimination;
  • promoting diversity;
  • developing an inclusive organisational culture;
  • ensuring accessibility and barrier-free participation;
  • inclusive communication;
  • training and awareness-raising;
  • monitoring the implementation of equality and inclusion principles.

The Policy was approved by the Head of Green Agro Solutions on 7 April 2026.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct establishes ethical standards and rules of professional conduct for persons who represent the organisation or act on its behalf.

In particular, the Code addresses:

  • professional integrity and accountability;
  • reliability of information and professional competence;
  • prevention and management of conflicts of interest;
  • confidentiality and information protection;
  • proper use of the organisation’s resources;
  • public representation of the organisation;
  • cooperation with partners and donors;
  • reporting suspected violations;
  • procedures for handling reports;
  • protection of persons who report suspected violations in good faith;
  • response measures where violations are confirmed.

The Code was approved by the Head of Green Agro Solutions on 11 May 2026.

Implementation and Monitoring

Green Agro Solutions conducts annual monitoring of the implementation of its Gender Equality Plan on the basis of the indicators established in the Plan.

The monitoring covers, in particular:

  • representation of women and men among consultants and experts;
  • participation in projects and professional development;
  • delivery of training and awareness-raising activities;
  • implementation of planned measures;
  • aggregated outcomes of reports and complaints handled;
  • the need to update internal policies and procedures.

A concise aggregated summary of the monitoring results is published without personal data or information that could enable the identification of a specific individual.

Questions and Reports

Questions concerning the Gender Equality Plan, the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy or the Code of Conduct, as well as reports of suspected violations, may be submitted to: ethics@greenas.org

Reports are handled confidentially in accordance with the organisation’s internal procedures. A person who reports a suspected violation in good faith shall not be subjected to retaliation, discrimination or other adverse consequences.
